Reset User Database Provider
Problem:
After selecting the user database provider you can no longer log in to the WinGate Administration console.
Resolution:
Try logging in using the following credentials.
- For the Active Directory Connector - log in as a user who is a member of domain Admins.
- For the Windows Users and Groups Connector - log in as a user who is a member of the Administrators group on the WinGate computer.
- For the WinGate User database - log in as a a member of the WINGATE Administrators group. By default WinGate creates an account named Administrator, with no password.
If you still cannot log in you can reset the User Database Provider. Note that this will require editing the registry, make sure that you have a current backup of your registry settings before making any changes to the registry.
