WinGate 8 is built on the same technology that we ushered in with WinGate 7 and almost all of your WinGate 7 configuration will migrate to WinGate 8 with a few minor exceptions.
HTTP Cache volumes
HTTP Cache volumes are migrated, however the contents of those volumes will be cleared due to fundamental changes in the indexing structure of the HTTP Cache. Therefore you will have to repopulate the cache.
You can use basic Full-Text Searches against the page title and body to find matching articles. Use the following search modifiers to refine your query:
event management (no quotes) will find all pages containing the words "event" OR "management"
"event management" (with quotes) will find all pages containing the phrase "event management"
+event -management will find all pages containing the word "event", AND NOT the word "management"
