WinGate Update events
License restriction: The events registered by the WinGate Update system are only available when using a WinGate Enterprise license.
The WinGate Update system will register several events that can take place during its operations with the WinGate Events system. As with all registered events throughout WinGate, these can be handled by any of the event processing systems whenever they take place. This means that you could run a Javascript script, or have the Send Mail event processor send an appropriate message when these WinGate Update events occur.
Registered events
Currently the WinGate Update registers the following two events with the Events system:
WinGate Update Engine:Before install
This event takes place immediately before the installation of any update.
WinGate Update Engine:After install
This event takes place immediately after the WinGate Updates have finished the installation of any update.
Accessing WinGate Update events
As with other registered events, you can access and specify event processing (which event processors should process the event) from the Events panel, located at Control Panel > Events in the WinGate Management console.
