WinGate Update Settings

The WinGate Update Settings allow you to set various options on how the WinGate Update system will perform automatic updates and other administrative tasks such as logging, permissions, and notifications.

They can be accessed by selecting Edit Settings from the Tasks menu when you are using the WinGate Update panel in the WinGate Management console.

The WinGate Update Settings include:

Automatic updates

The Automatic Updates tab allows you to configure the schedule when automatic updates take place, and define how these automatic updates will be performed.

Notifications

The WinGate Update system allows you to action a specific notification plan in the WinGate Notifications system to notify the relevant people when a new update is available, or when an update has failed. This allows you to alert administrators to these important incidents as they take place in WinGate.
