WinGate Engine Monitor
The WinGate Engine Monitor runs in the Windows system tray and is designed to show the status of the WinGate Engine.
When the WinGate Engine is stopped, all WinGate functionality such as client Internet access, logging into the WinGate Management console etc. will be disabled.
WinGate Engine Monitor state:
The WinGate Engine is started and running.
The WinGate Engine is stopped.
The WinGate Engine is in the process of starting or stopping.
Accessing the WinGate Management console
You can access the WinGate Management console from the WinGate Engine Monitor by either:
- Right clicking the WinGate Engine Monitor icon to open a menu, which allows you to change the state of the WinGate Engine, and log into the WinGate Management console.
- Double click the WinGate Engine Monitor system tray icon.
