Extensions

When the Data module is loaded in WinGate, it will register a number of extension items to other WinGate components that are installed. These Data module items provide tools and enhancements to the other components while the Data module is loaded.

Policy module

1. Data Boolean check

   The Data boolean check policy item can be used to check the state of Boolean value that has been created in the Data system. This check can be placed anywhere in the policy flowchart, and will gather the value of the current boolean value each time it is processed.

2. Data list lookup

   The Data list lookup policy item will check to see if the value of a selected piece of event data is on a list configured in the Data system. This is useful for checking lists of banned/allowed sites, allowed users etc during policy evaluation.
