HTTP Cache panel
The HTTP Cache panel, located at Control Panel > HTTP Cache in the WinGate Management console, provides a central place where you can configure and manage the HTTP cache.
It displays all currently configured volumes that are being used by the HTTP Cache. The fullness of each volume is illustrated for easy checking so you can see if a configured volume is nearing its storage capacity. By default WinGate will create a 1 Gigabyte volume so the HTTP Cache can begin to operate immediately after installation.
The Cache panel provides current processing statistics for the HTTP Cache so you can check to see how effective your current cache settings are working and whether the cache volume size is adequate for the type and amount of requests being served to clients.
Creating volumes
From the HTTP Cache panel you can create, and manage volumes as required. Each volume will be filled completely, before the HTTP Cache will begin to fill the next specified volume.
