The Notifications tab in the WinGate Update Settings, allows you to have a selected notification plan actioned in the WinGate Notifications system, whenever there is an update failure or new updates are available. The Notifications system allows you to create a schedule of notifications that can be sent to relevant people whenever a plan is triggered by such an incident.
This makes the notification of new updates, and update failures to administrators easy to configure within the WinGate Update system.
You should configure a suitable notification plan in the Notifications settings panel, located in the Control Panel of the WinGate Management console, prior to configuring the WinGate Update Settings. In this example, a notification plan called Updates failed has been created previously.
