Network Connection properties
WinGate provides a range of WinGate specific properties for each network connection that it has discovered in Windows. These properties allow you to set how WinGate will classify the usage of a particular network connection, details about the actual connection, and advanced options for how WinGate will utilize the connection.
You can access the WinGate specific properties by:
- Open the WinGate Management console.
- Navigate to Control Panel > Network Connections.
- On the Network Connections panel, double click the appropriate network connection to open its WinGate specific properties.
Note
Dialup type connections discovered by WinGate will also appear on the Network Connections panel, but you must enable each of them to be used by WinGate. This can be done by setting the connection details (Username and password details) on the Dialing tab in the WinGate specific properties for each particular dialup connection.
