The Performance tab of the WinGate specific properties for each network connection displays current data activity through the network connection in real time.
Checking the Auto radio button scales the monitor so that the point of the most activity across the network interface (i.e. the most Kbps or kilobits per second) is the upper point of the monitors scale.
Checking this radio button lets you set the monitor’s scale manually by moving the slider bar up and down.
Moving the bar up decreases the number on the Kbps indicator, allowing a closer look at the data.
Sliding the bar down does just the opposite, moving the indicator closer to its maximum of 1250 Kbps for a long view at the data.
