Dashboard styles
The Dashboard provides a styles configuration where you can create new styles that can be applied to the different types of dashboard items.
You can access the Edit Styles configuration from the Tasks menu whenever you have a dashboard open.
A standard style is defined by default for each of the six types of dashboard items (Labels, Meters, Switches, LCD Displays, Base plates, and Indicators). These default styles will be applied to all dashboard items that you may create. The properties of these default styles can be altered from inside the Edit Styles configuration if required.
Alternatively, you can define new styles for each different dashboard item, by clicking the New Style button when you have a particular dashboard item selected. These new styles will then be available for selection when you create or edit that type of item on a dashboard, allowing you to create a uniform look for the content of each dashboard you create.
Note
- The default styles will be applied to dashboard items, across all dashboards you may create automatically.
- You can edit the existing style for each individual dashboard item you create, from inside the dashboard items properties, whenever the dashboard is in Design mode.
