When you are using the WinGate Management console, WinGate provides a small message bar to let you know when there is an issue with the functionality or operation of one of the installed components. Often these will be an alert when there is a configuration problem, or a components operation has failed.
All alerts will be displayed in the Message bar at the top of the WinGate Management console (as shown in the example below).
The Qbik logo at the top left corner of the WinGate Management console will pulse red to gain your attention, and in the message bar will be listed a brief note on the source of the problem. To make the issue easier to locate, WinGate will provide a link to the relevant component user interface where the issue is.
In the example below, the Policy system has reported that there is an issue with the configuration of a policy item in one of its policies. The problem policy is displayed on the Policy panel in red.
Upon opening the relevant policy (in a policy editor) the misconfigured policy item is also displayed in red, with its associated error (as shown in the example below).
