The Items section in the policy editor toolbox contains the policy items that you can use to construct the actual steps that will be processed in the flow chart on the worksheet.
These items can be used to evaluate current event data, and make decisions about which direction the policy processing should take based on their values. This could be along a flow chart path to another policy item that is set to perform an action, run a script, or evaluate more event data. Or it could simply follow a path that ends the policy processing with a defined result.
The availability of policy items will be dependent on a number of factors, such as the type of event that you have chosen to base the policy on, and which modules have registered applicable policy items.
WinGate modules and components can register their own policy items with the Policy system when they are installed and loaded in WinGate. As such the availability of policy items in the Items section will be dependent on what modules have been installed. Please refer to the Extensions section of other module helpfiles, when wanting to read about what policy items they will register with the Policy system. The Policy system provides a range of default policy items that you can use on the worksheet to create the flow chart.
